Girly Things To Do Whilst Staying At Home

Hello lovelies! I hope you're all doing well and staying safe in these really strange times. I realised that I haven't actually shared a new blog post in a little while and I felt inspired to put together a little list of some of the pretty and girly things that you can do whilst staying at home. I really hope that you enjoy and it brings a little pink prettiness to your day...

Indulge In A Luxury Skincare Routine
There is no better time than just now to start a new skincare routine and to spend some extra time using all of your gorgeous and special products to treat your skin to a little pampering. I've been trying out a few new products recently from Too Faced ~ I've been using the Hangover Pillow Cream at night time which comes in the most beautiful lilac and white ombré tub complete with gold twinkly stars and it feels so creamy and luxurious when it sinks into your skin as it is enriched with stardust. I've also been using the Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream recently too as my daily moisturiser which is so light and has a dreamy delicate rose scent. It's also lovely to use a face mask to make you feel like a pretty princess too!

Sort Out Your Planner With Pretty Stickers And Cute Washi Tape
Even though life has got very quiet and unknown, I still like to take some time to sort out my planner as it helps to make me feel organised for the week. I have a really lovely milkshake pink planner from Kikki K which I've had for a couple of years and I love to decorate it with a selection of pretty stickers and cute washi tapes. Even though I don't have many things on at the moment, I still like to use it to plan out my day and set myself a little list of tasks to complete. I've also been loving my Mrs Hinch Little Book Of Lists which is so handy for making little cleaning and organising lists and makes me feel so happy when I tick things off at the end of the day.

Make A Pink Unicorn Hot Chocolate With Fluffy Cream, Mini Marshmallows And Rainbow Sprinkles
I've been wanting to try and make a pink unicorn hot chocolate for a little while and what better time is there than now? I spotted the recipe in The Unicorn Cookbook and I can't wait to give it a little try. I had been really enjoying the Costa Ruby Hot Chocolates at the start of the year so hopefully I can create my own little unicorn version at home. It would be so lovely to style it in a cute mug or latte glass and finish with fluffy cream, pink and white mini marshmallows and some magical unicorn sprinkles.

Buy A Bunch Of Pretty Flowers
Having fresh flowers in my home is one of my favourite little treats and it really helps to brighten my mood which I think is so important just now. I picked up a gorgeous bunch of pink roses in Tesco at the start of the week and they just make me so happy to see them blooming in my living room. Of course, you don't have to buy fresh flowers and I have some really pretty faux flower arrangements around my home too like cream hydrangeas and peonies. I'd love to treat myself to one of the baby pink and white forever rose boxes from My Flower Room or one of the gorgeous white peony and hydrangea arrangements from Ellie's Finishing Touches

Organise Your Wardrobe And Dressing Table
I feel like this is such a cliché thing to do whilst staying at home but I've actually really enjoyed sorting out my wardrobe and dressing table recently. Having everything sorted and organised just makes my heart happy and not to mention, it gives me more space to fill my wardrobe with more pretty clothes. I picked up this gorgeous pale pink Marie jumper from Skinnydip London last week and I can't wait to wear it properly when we can finally go out again as it's so sweet. I also sorted out my dressing table and little chest of drawers in my spare room which houses all of my makeup and girly bits and bobs. I loved having a little reorganise of my dressing table space and displaying all of my pretty products and trinkets on top to make me feel like a princess whilst I'm getting ready there in the mornings.

Buy A Fairytale Colouring In Book
Colouring in is an activity that I have always found to be really therapeutic and relaxing and I find that it's such a cute little thing to do in the evenings whilst watching the TV. I have both the I Heart Unicorns and I Heart Mermaids colouring books which have the prettiest whimsical illustrations of magical unicorns and mystical mermaids. It's so good to help to relax and calm your mind and I just love creating all of the pastel prettiness too!

Bake Some Enchanting Sweet Treats
I've been loving doing a little bit of baking recently as I find it so relaxing when I've actually got the time to enjoy it and eating all of the sugary sweet treats when you're finished is definitely one of the best bits. I've made a couple of batches of milk and white chocolate cookies with Mini Eggs which are so easy to do and absolutely delicious. You could also try making vanilla cupcakes and decorate them with strawberry, candyfloss or marshmallow buttercream icing, princessy pastel sprinkles or cute little fondant decorations if you really want to make them extra special. One of my favourite recipe books is The Unicorn Cookbook which has lots of magical unicorn-inspired sweet treats and some that I would love to try are Fairy Dust Macarons, Unicorn Cookie Dough Bites, Make A Wish Shortbread and the Unicorn Wish Cupcakes. I also have the beautiful Sweet Bake Shop book which is a princessy baking dream book filled with recipes such as Cotton Candy Cloud Macarons, Confetti Sprinkle Cookies, Sprinkly Fairy Wand Cookies, Birthday Cake Macarons and Vanilla Sugar Cookies.

Watch All Of The Disney Princess Movies
I feel like Disney+ definitely arrived at the perfect opportunity as I've actually had a little more time recently to curl up and watch a movie. I've been watching a different Disney princess film every night before I go to bed and it's so relaxing to be whisked away into a fairytale princess world full of cotton candy dreams and magical wishes. Some of my favourites are Cinderella, Snow White, Beauty And The Beast, Frozen and Tangled although I pretty much love them all!

Treat Yourself To Some Cute Comfy Clothing
As tempting as it may be for some people to stay in their pyjamas all day, I find that I feel really unproductive so I've been making the effort to make sure I get dressed every day. Having some cute and comfortable loungewear is definitely the answer and I've been living in fleecey pink jogging bottoms, pretty t-shirts and girly hoodies. I picked up these adorable candy pink joggers in the Boohoo sale as well as this white oversized New York hoodie which I love. There are so many pretty wishlist worthy items on Asos, Missguided and Pretty Little Thing so another shopping splurge may have to be done soon!

Light A New Favourite Candle And Burn Some Girly Wax Melts
One of my favourite ways to relax is to cosy up with a scented candle in my living room or bedroom. I like to burn candles all year round as I find that they make me feel so cosy and content and I also think that they make the prettiest decor pieces too. Some of my favourites are Yankee Candle's Blush Bouquet, Pink Sands and Rainbow CookieSince we moved into our new house in November, I've found a new obsession with burning wax melts and I have two gorgeous white Scentsy electric warmers that I love to have on. They make my living room smell so lovely and I'm addicted to buying wax melts now ~ some of my favourites are Scentsy's Pink Haze, Strawberry Swirl and Vanilla Bean Buttercream, Cotton Candy Clouds from Scent Sensationals which you can buy in Asda and Baking Cookies and Caramel Vanilla Latte from Glam Wax

Have A Pink Bubble Bath With Candy Scented Bubbles
One of the nicest indulgent treats is a bubble bath filled with fluffy pink bubbles in a candy scent with all of the glitter and shimmer possible and I love to have a bath at least once a week. I still have some of my Lush Magic Wand bubble bar left over from Christmas so I love using a little swirl of this to make my bath feel princessy and magical and it has the most gorgeous candyfloss and creamy vanilla scent. Whilst I'm in the bath, I like to take a book in with me or have a little scroll through my phone, pop in a hair mask and I sometimes take up a little drink of pink unicorn gin which tastes like marshmallows and candyfloss dusted in shimmering pink glitter from Enchanted DrinksAfter a relaxing bubble bath, I love to apply a sugary scented body lotion and cosy up in some snuggly pink pyjamas with a hot chocolate.

Go For A Walk Through The Pink And White Cherry Blossom Trees
I'm so pleased that the weather has been so lovely and sunny recently so I've been going on lots of lovely walks each day through the spring flowers. Cherry blossom trees are one of my favourite things about the springtime and it makes me so happy to walk through all of the gorgeous candyfloss pink and icing sugar white petals. I'd definitely like to plant a little cherry blossom tree in my garden but I just so wish that they bloomed for a little while longer than they do!

Paint Your Nails With A Sweet Shade
One of the beauty treatments that I enjoy the most is getting my nails done regularly so I've taken to doing a little manicure every few days myself. I love pretty soft pink shades like Essie's Mademoiselle, Romper Room and Ballet Slippers and during the spring and summer months I also really like pastel candy pink shades like OPI's Mod About You and Le Mini Macaron Fairy FlossI do normally get gel nails done so I've purchased a little UV gel lamp and some gel nail polishes so I can hopefully do them myself and I'll be sure to let you know how I get on.

Curl Up With A New Book And A Cosy Blanket
I love curling up on my sofa or having a little early night and reading a new book. I really enjoy girly books that are easy to read and whisk you away into a little fantasy dreamland and I find that I can lose myself in a good book for a few hours. I'm loving having some extra time to read recently and it's nice to have a little break from phones and TV screens. I have a little white Kindle which I purchased from Amazon and it's absolutely perfect as it's so lightweight so it would also be ideal for taking on holiday too.

Make Unicorn Popcorn And Watch A Series On Netflix
My last girly stay at home suggestion is to make some unicorn popcorn and start a new series on Netflix. Unicorn popcorn is basically normal popcorn with melted white chocolate and mini marshmallows through it and I can't wait to make this and serve it in a cute pink bowl. I've been wanting to get into a new series on Netflix for a little while but I can't help rewatching all of the Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars episodes as I just adore them so much. I just wish that they would put Desperate Housewives, 90210, One Tree Hill and all of the Mary Kate And Ashley movies on as that really would make me happy!

I hope that this has given you a few little ideas for making the most of your time at home and that you are all feeling safe and happy. And remember... after every storm comes a rainbow!

February Photo Diary

February just seems to have flown by but then I suppose it is the shortest month of the year! I've had a lovely month with it being Valentine's Day and having an excuse to indulge in some chocolates, despite the weather being cold, wet and miserable. I can't wait for spring...

Princess Marie Hot Chocolate
On a particularly cold day, I treated myself to a cute little hot chocolate in my adorable Disney Marie mug from their Magical Moments collection. I added some fluffy whipped cream and tiny pink, lilac and white candy heart sprinkles which I thought was really fitting for Valentine's Day. I also found this sweet little box of pink and white heart-shaped marshmallows in The Card Factory and treated myself to a little bowl of them whilst watching Gossip Girl.

Diamond Pink Makeup
I haven't splurged on many new makeup items for a little while but I did treat myself to the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Diamonds Lipstick a little before Christmas as I couldn't resist. I mentioned it in my Valentine's Day Gift Guide blog post as it has the most gorgeous pale pink and twinkling rose gold packaging and I love the shade of the lipstick with the subtle hint of sparkle. I've also been loving my adorable Too Faced Diamond Highlighter in the shade 'Fancy Pink Diamond' recently as it gives the prettiest pink flush with a hint of shimmer. I'm planning on writing a blog post all about the two Too Faced Diamond Highlighters that I own so let me know if that is something you would like to see.

Pink Ruffled Shoes And Valentine's Accessories
I purchased these gorgeous pink ruffled heels from Pretty Little Thing a little while back as I thought they were the prettiest and they would be perfect for a Valentine's date if you were getting dressed up. My husband and I decided to have a really cosy little evening in instead for Valentine's Day. He treated me to a beautiful bunch of soft pink roses (my fave!) and we had a delicious love heart red velvet chocolate brownie for dessert. I also loved burning my Love Hearts and Chocolate Strawberries wax melts from Glam Wax which both smell so sugary and sweet!

Fairytale Swan Mug
I know that I've mentioned this whimsical Freya Swan mug from Sass And Belle a few times before on my blog and my Instagram since I purchased it but I just absolutely love it. It makes any hot drink look so much prettier and more fairytale-esque and is it just me that thinks  your drinks taste even better out of cute mugs? I love the dainty eyelashes on the swan, pink blushing cheeks and the gorgeous gold feather details as well as the soft milkshake pink lining on the inside of the mug. I also have the matching bowl and salt and pepper shakers which I adore too!

Sugary Marshmallow Tanning Mousse
I came across this new tanning mousse from St Tropez whilst I was scrolling through Instagram and was instantly intrigued as it had a sugary marshmallow scent. I don't use fake tan very often but I do think that as we are coming into the spring and summer months that it would be nice to add a little bit of colour. I love the ombre pink and white packaging of the bottle and I can't wait to try it out for a little golden glow.

Girly Unicorn Pancakes
It was Pancake Day last week which is one of my favourite days of the year, I mean who doesn't love an excuse to eat Nutella pancakes topped with strawberries and mini marshmallows? I decided to make some unicorn pancakes which were meant to be a little more pretty and pink than these ones and I decided to top them with fluffy cream and mini candy heart sprinkles which were yummy.

I hope you've all had a lovely February! Which one of my photos is your favourite?

I thought I would pop together a pretty little wishlist post as I realised that I haven't made one of these since Christmas and I'd spotted a few lovely items in that time. Valentine's Day Gift Guide

I wanted to pop together a little girly gift guide for Valentine's Day as I just think it's the sweetest thing ever and I love anything pink, heart-shaped and chocolatey. Although I'm dreaming of a beautiful bunch of pink and cream roses, I've collected some of the loveliest items that I think would make the perfect treat for your sweetheart...

I spotted this gorgeous new lipstick from Charlotte Tilbury on Pink Peony Home's Instagram stories before Christmas and it instantly went straight onto my wishlist. I adore the gorgeous rose gold tube that the lipstick comes in and even though I don't own Charlotte's famous Pillow Talk Lipstick (although I wish that I did!), I had to add this one to my collection. It's a beautiful soft shimmering rose pink colour with a very fine golden sparkle throughout which looks perfect paired over other nude or pink lip liners but also looks just as pretty on it's own for a subtle sparkle. I love the blush pink packaging with the gorgeous gold glitters on it and the quality feels so creamy and luxurious to wear on the lips, as well as being quite long-lasting.

Another love-themed makeup product that I have is one which has been in my collection for quite a while but is one of my favourites. I love the gorgeous heart-shaped packaging which would make a sweet gift for Valentine's Day and the shade I have is 'Candy Glow' which is made up of three shimmering pink and peach tones. If you swirl them together, they create a lovely flushed pink colour which I think is so pretty and fresh for over the spring and summer months.

One of my fave candles ever! I bought this Blush Bouquet candle from Yankee Candle's Sunday Brunch collection last year and have since repurchased as I love the scent and colour so much. It's the perfect one for around Valentine's Day and springtime as it's a soft sugary pink colour and the scent has notes of peonies, sweet pea, lilies and cherry blossom so it has the most gorgeous floral scent which isn't too overpowering either. It reminds me of walking through the park on a fresh spring day amidst all of the falling pink and white cherry blossom petals!

I don't know many girls that don't love a gorgeous bubble bath and around Valentine's Day, I love to have a pink bath filled with lots of bubbles, scented candles and a little glass of prosecco. One of my favourite products for a really luxurious bath is this Summer Dream Bubble Heaven from Champney's which comes in gorgeous blush pink packaging and looks so pretty displayed on the side of your bath. It has a really lovely fresh and fruity scent with a mixture of peach, mango, orange and passionfruit although I do think it smells a lot like strawberries and champagne which is perfect for Valentine's Day. It creates loads of fluffy bubbles and is heavenly for some chilled out me time!

I have a special little place in my heart for the Charbonnel Et Walker Pink Marc De Champagne Truffles as they are just my favourites ever, but as they are so expensive, they are a little luxury that are reserved for treats only! I decided to include the pink love heart-shaped box that they have available which is so perfect for Valentine's Day and the chocolates themselves are so dreamy. They are white chocolate truffles with a hint of strawberry and velvety champagne centres that are dusted in icing sugar and are perfect with a glass of pink champagne!

I've had this gorgeous blush pink jewellery box from Ted Baker for a little over a year as I decided to treat myself to it in the January sales last year. I chose the small size as I do already have another jewellery box and I want to use this one to keep really special items in (and I'm forever wishing for the large Ted Baker jewellery box with the spinning ballerina!). This one is a beautiful soft blush pink colour complete with a grey suede lining and finished off with a dainty rose gold bow detail which is so girly and pretty. It would make the loveliest gift to treat a special someone to and you could even complete it with a pretty love heart necklace, bracelet or pair of earrings to go inside.

One of my favourite brands for beautiful skincare products is Jurlique and I particularly love their Rose range. I treated myself to their Rosewater Balancing Mist a few years ago and haven't looked back! It's such a lovely refreshing product which I like to spritz on my face after I've used my other skincare products and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and glowy. It also has a very fresh delicate rose scent and is the perfect product for using over the spring months. I adore the gorgeous ombre pink bottle which looks so dreamy sitting on your dressing table and it would make the perfect princessy gift!

Pink Love Heart Marshmallows
If you're looking for a little sweet something to add to a gift or just for a smaller present, I came across this adorable little round box of love heart marshmallows in The Card Factory. Finished with a pretty pink satin ribbon bow, they would be lovely for adding to a Valentine's Day hot chocolate for a romantic treat!

White Chocolate Pink Heart Lollipop
The last item that I wanted to include in this blog post is another little gift idea from The Card Factory. I thought this white chocolate lollipop adorned with pink and white love hearts and sugary sprinkles was so cute and you could even pop it inside a Valentine's Day card too!

Which one of my Valentine's Day gift ideas would you most like to receive?

Pretty Pink Ideas To Sweeten Up Your February

February is always such a cold and miserable month but I do actually quite like it as there is Valentine's Day and I love anything pink with love hearts, roses and chocolates. I thought I'd pop together a few cute little ideas to make you fall back in love with February...

Treat Yourself To A Bunch Of Pretty Pink And Cream Roses
One of my New Year's resolutions was to start treating myself to a little bunch of flowers every now and again as they really cheer up my living room and brighten my mood. I chose a beautiful bunch of pale pink and soft cream roses this week and they are just stunning! I'm also really excited for peony season and all of the pretty spring flowers like daffodils and tulips too.

Paint Your Nails With A Soft Pastel Pink Shade
I find that quite often I actually get my nails done more recently but sometimes I do like to paint my own if I have a little time to spare. I love soft shades of manicure pinks like Essie's 'Romper Room', 'Ballet Slippers' and 'Mademoiselle' or you could go for more of a candy pink shade such as Essie's 'Muchi Muchi' which is another one of my faves.

Bake Love Heart Sugar Cookies Or Cupcakes
I've always really fancied making a love heart-shaped cookie and icing it with pink and white buttercream and a cute little saying but you could also make some lovely little fondant cupcakes with teddy bears, love hearts, roses, envelopes and chocolate boxes. They'd be yummy to enjoy after a romantic Valentine's dinner or you could gift wrap them to make a sweet little present.

Make An Indulgent Hot Chocolate With Cream And Love Heart Sweeties
I always enjoy making hot chocolates throughout the winter months so I decided to make one in my pretty pale pink ruffled tea cup and add some whipped cream and little love heart sweeties. I think this would be perfect for a cosy night in gossiping with your friends!

Wear Your Favourite Perfume
If you're getting dressed up for a little date night, it's always nice to spritz on some of your favourite perfume. I absolutely love Lancome's La Vie Est Belle as well as Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb which has the most beautiful girly pink and black floral packaging and would also make a lovely Valentine's Day gift if you wanted to treat someone!

Splurge On Some Pretty New Lingerie
I'm definitely guilty of not buying myself enough pretty lingerie and I think most girls are! It's lovely to have a little splurge occasionally and do you not think that wearing lovely underwear just makes you feel even nicer? I love dainty pale pink lacey pieces and I'm loving Boux Avenue's lovely new spring collection as well as anything from Ted Baker!

Treat Yourself To A New Lipstick
Valentine's Day is all about little treats and romance so why not splurge on a new lipstick that you've been wanting for ages? I would always recommend the YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks and my favourite shade is 'Lingerie Pink' which is so fitting for a pretty date night. They also come in the most gorgeous gold tubes that even have a little rose cut out in the centre!

Have A Little Date Night With Prosecco And Cosy Up With A Movie
Sometimes, it's nice just to get cosied up on the sofa with the candles burning and a fluffy blanket rather than going out and my husband and I certainly love doing this for a chilled little date night. You can have a little glass of prosecco or you could make candyfloss pink gin cocktails which are one of my faves and choose a movie to watch on Netflix.

Indulge In A Box Of Your Favourite Chocolates
Around Valentine's Day, I think it's just acceptable to treat yourself to a box of chocolates! I adore the Charbonnel Et Walker Pink Marc De Champagne Truffles and this time, I picked them up in the prettiest blush pink love heart box. They are such a treat and are basically like champagne creams with a white chocolate coating and dusted in icing sugar with a slight hint of strawberry.

Have A Bubble Bath With Scented Candles And Pink Rose Petals
I think one of the loveliest ways to relax is to run yourself a hot bath with loads of bubbles and crumble up a cute bubble bar. Around Valentine's Day, I particularly love using Lush's Unicorn Horn which is rainbow coloured and shimmery and has a beautiful candyfloss and lavender scent which I find to be so relaxing. You can light a few of your favourite candles and also scatter some pink rose petals to add a cute finishing touch!

Have A Girly Night With Pink Champagne, Gossiping And White Chocolate Strawberries
I always think it's lovely to have a little girly night in every now and again so why not invite over some of your close friends, make some white chocolate strawberries and pour some glasses of pink champagne? Then you can get cosied up with some candles burning and pop on a few chick flicks like Legally Blonde, Mean Girls and The Notebook.

Visit A Pretty Cafe For Sugary Sweet Pink Treats
I visited Peggy Porschen in London at Christmas time a few years ago and I've always dreamt of going back around Valentine's Day as their girly pink decor and cake displays are the prettiest. I'd love to pop in for a love heart sugar cookie, a slice of Strawberries & Champagne cake and a hot chocolate served in a pretty pink mug!

What do you like to do during February?

January Photo Diary

I'm so sorry that this post is a little late! I'd seen that a lot of other bloggers had been introducing monthly diaries into their blog content and I thought that it looked like such a cute little idea. As it was the start of a fresh new year, I thought that I would introduce this new little series to my blog to show some of my pretty photos that appeared on my Instagram feed but not necessarily on my blog. I hope that you enjoy...

Pink Prosecco Chocolates
For New Year's Eve, I treated myself to some of my favourite Lindor Strawberries & Cream chocolates which are just the yummiest! We had such a cosy little evening tucked up under a fluffy pink pom pom blanket with a glass of pink unicorn candyfloss gin. I also found this pink prosecco chocolate bar in a local gift shop but the packaging is so adorable that I don't think I'll be able to eat it!

Cosy Swan Hat
Some of you may remember that I featured this pretty pink swan hat in my Cosy Winter Pieces For An Enchanting And Sparkly Season blog post last year but I have still been wearing it on cold days this year too. I love the little dainty embroidered swan with the eyelashes, pink blushing cheeks and gold princess crown as I think it looks so whimsical and fairytale-esque. I found these adorable pink bow gloves from a brand called SVNX on Asos which I also couldn't resist as they are so girly and cute!

Princessy Pink Nails
I have also decided to start treating myself to little manicures every now and again as I absolutely love getting my nails done and I also think it's so relaxing. Don't you just feel so much better when your nails look pretty too? I went for this milky pink shade called 'Soft Pink'  which reminds me a little of Essie's 'Romper Room' and I think they look so princessy and polished!

Glittery Glam Wax Melts
I was absolutely over the moon to be asked to be a Glambassador with Glam Wax as I just adore her gorgeous girly and sparkly wax melts! I have very kindly been sent a selection of her products to add to my collection and I just love all the pretty pink and sweet scents. I can't wait to try out some of her gorgeous new Valentine's Day scents! If you want a little discount, pop 'PRETTY10' at the checkout for 10% off!

Yankee Candle Fluffy Towels Candle
One of my favourite cosy candle scents for burning over the winter months is Yankee Candle's Fluffy TowelsI love the white design and it has the most clean and comforting scent with a mixture of lemon, apple, lavender and lily which makes my living room smell so fresh and cosy.

Hope you've all had a lovely January! Which one of my photos is your favourite?

Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Eyeshadow Palette | Pink Chocolate Prettiness

As soon as I saw on Instagram that Too Faced were having a sale just after Christmas and that the Chocolate Bon Bons eyeshadow palette was included, I couldn't resist treating myself to another one. As I adore the baby pink casing, heart-shaped eyeshadows and the chocolatey smell, I thought that it deserved it's own little pink and girly post on my blog...

The Chocolate Bon Bons palette includes sixteen matte and shimmer shades which have a mixture of beautiful neutral colours and also a pop of sugary bright pinks. I have really enjoyed experimenting with all of the colours in this palette and you are able to create such a wide range of looks. When you open the palette, it is like opening a box of pretty pink heart chocolates and I love using it for around Valentine's Day as it is so romantic and dreamy!

For everyday wear, I love to use 'Satin Sheets' which is a beautiful champagne shimmer over my eyelid and then blend out 'Cafe Au Lait', a pewter shimmer or 'Molasses Chip' which is more of a bronze gold. My favourite matte shades are 'Almond Truffle' which is a light brown and 'Cashew Chew' which is a pale neutral cream. The white matte shade 'Divinity' is perfect for using as a brow bone highlight and I also love using the shades 'Black Currant' and 'Dark Truffle' to smudge under my lower lash line.

I was a little unsure at first about the fuchsia pink shade called 'Totally Fetch' and the pale pink 'Cotton Candy' as I don't tend to wear pink eyeshadows much but I actually found that 'Cotton Candy' blends out into a subtle pink shimmer which is very similar to Urban Decay's 'Dust' from the Naked 3 palette. The colour 'Earl Grey' is a really unusual dark grey with a hint of green sparkle to it and looks really pretty too.

As for the eyeshadows themselves, they are so pigmented and easy to blend out. I'm really impressed that the quality of these appear to be the same as the other two Chocolate Bar palettes which I also own and I really believe that Too Faced products are so worth the money. The shadows are also infused with cocoa powder so they have a yummy chocolate scent too!

I thought I would include a little description of each of the shades below...

Totally Fetch | Shimmer
A bright fuchsia pink with blue undertones and a fine iridescent shimmer. This is the only shade in the palette that I find to be rather unwearable but that is because I don't really choose vibrant pink eyeshadows!

Satin Sheets | Shimmer
One of my most used so far in the palette! A champagne pink shimmer with a golden frost which looks beautiful as an all over lid colour too. It is also available in the Boudoir Eyes palette and is one of the Too Faced cult favourites.

Cotton Candy | Shimmer
A brighter medium pink with blue undertones and a silvery frosted sheen. Looks slightly scary in the palette but actually blends out more sheer and looks really pretty.

Sprinkles | Shimmer
A really pretty pale pink with a subtle gold shimmer. It's very similar to 'Dust' from the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette which I have almost used up completely!

Almond Truffle | Matte
A light neutral brown with a slight mauve undertone. It is one of my favourites for using in the crease to smudge out.

Cashew Chew | Matte
A pale creamy beige with warm undertones and a satin finish. A really nice one for using all over the eyelid if you want to create a matte eye makeup look.

Divinity | Matte
A pale creamy shade that is perfect for using as a highlight for your brow bone or inner corner. This one is really pigmented but can also be sheered out slightly if you want to create a softer finish.

Dark Truffle | Shimmer
A lovely deep chocolate brown with a soft pearly sheen. I love smudging this one along my upper and lower lash lines if I don't fancy wearing eyeliner!

Malted | Shimmer
A dark brown with a slightly golden tone. It is intensely pigmented and is a great shade to use if you want to create a deep smokey eye.

Bordeaux | Shimmer
A deep burgundy with warm brown undertones and a silky satin finish. It looks lovely paired with 'Black Currant' if you want to go for more of a purple-toned eye makeup look.

Molasses Chip | Shimmer
A gorgeous metallic bronze with a golden sparkle running through it. It is one of the most pigmented and applies with a really opaque finish.

Mocha | Matte
Quite similar to 'Almond Truffle' but is a slightly deeper matte brown. This one is the only shade that I have found to be slightly dusty which is unusual for a matte eyeshadow but it is a lovely neutral colour.

Cafe Au Lait | Shimmer
This is another one of my favourites and it is an unexpected one. 'Cafe Au Lait' is a medium brown with a golden champagne metallic sheen and is another really pretty one for using in your crease.

Pecan Praline | Matte
A light taupe brown with subtle warm undertones. It feels lovely and silky and applies with a very smooth matte finish.

Black Currant | Shimmer
A dark plum colour with a sparkling frosted finish. This one is really lovely for adding a pop of colour to your eyelid or also to smudge along your lower lash line if you want to be more subtle.

Earl Grey | Shimmer
A lovely deep teal with a dark charcoal edge and a satin shimmer. This is a really nice shade for smudging out along your lash line if you want a subtle smokey eye with a twist!

What do you think of the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons eyeshadow palette?

Gorgeous Girly Wax Melts | Glam Wax Mean Girls Box

I was absolutely delighted when Christie over at the gorgeous Glam Wax contacted me and said that she would love me to be a Glambassador! I've been buying Glam Wax melts for a few months now as I love all of the girly sparkly designs and the range of beautiful scents. I also have a couple of the lovely wax burners too and I adore burning my wax melts in my pretty pink princess burner in my bedroom whilst having a cosy cup of tea before I go to sleep.

Glam Wax have introduced a gorgeous monthly box of goodies which you can preorder as a little treat. Each one has a different theme and contains five sparkling bars of yumminess which are exclusive to the monthly boxes. I was so excited when I found out that January's box was Mean Girls themed as it is one of my favourite girly movies and the goodies arrived in a pastel pink box which is studded with sparkling crystals. When it arrived in the mail, it was such a treat to open and I think it would make the perfect girly gift to treat one of your friends to!

All of the wax bars are packaged up in the prettiest cellophane wrappings complete with sparkling eyelashes for the iconic Glam Wax brand. One of my favourite things about these wax melts is that they are filled with glitter and princessy sparkles which makes them look so unique and really pretty when they're burning as well.

The scents included in the Mean Girls box are:~
So Fetch ~ strawberry bon bons, this is one of my faves! It's so sugary and fruity and smells like a traditional sweet shop.
You Go Glen Cocoa ~ chocolate
You Can't Sit With Us ~ raspberry and vanilla, another one that I love! This reminds me of raspberry and white chocolate muffins and is so yummy smelling.
Burn Book ~ toffee apple
On Wednesday's We Wear Pink ~ pink sugar, such a girly and sweet scent!

All of the snapbars have around 50 hours of burning time which makes them cheaper than a lot of candles and I find that just one square lasts me for days whilst filling my home with a gorgeous scent.

I'd love to know what you think and if you have tried any Glam Wax melts, which scent is your favourite?

xoxo
