Spookishly Cute And Girly Halloween Treats

I absolutely love Halloween and getting cosy with all of my candles lit, pumpkins and some spooky snacks. I also love to make everything sugary sweet, pink and girly so I couldn’t wait to pop together a little blog post with some easy and spooky cute Halloween treats. I hope that you enjoy…

Pink Marshmallow Ghost Popcorn

I was really inspired when I read Catherine’slovely blog post all about her Halloween movie night snack ideas and I decided to try out this girly ghost popcorn. It’s so easy to do ~ I just bought a large bag of sweet popcorn and popped it into one of my favourite love heart bowls. I then made some little marshmallow ghosts by using an edible black pen to draw little spooky faces on to them. I used a mixture of large and mini marshmallows which I think gives a really cute effect. Catherine also suggested that you could sprinkle some cinnamon over the top of your popcorn for an added autumnal touch or you could use some pumpkin spice!

Creamy Ghost Hot Chocolate

I also decided to make a hot chocolate to go along with my pink marshmallow ghost popcorn as it’s one of my favourite drinks for this time of the year. I have the sweetest little pink pumpkin mug which I purchased from House Of Sydane last year and I just adore it. I added some fluffy whipped cream and some of the marshmallow ghost faces into the top of my creamy hot chocolate and it makes for the perfect indulgent Halloween drink.

Adorable Halloween Sugar Cookies

The last little treat that I wanted to share with you is this adorable box of Halloween sugar cookies which I ordered from Catherine Marie Cake. I’ve been so excited to purchase from her as her baking and cakes are just beautiful and always so girly so I was delighted when she announced that she was going to be doing some Halloween sugar cookie boxes that could be posted and I ordered straightaway. They came wrapped in the loveliest little box and tied up with a gorgeous pink satin ribbon bow and I think these are the prettiest Halloween cookies that I have ever seen.

There are six adorable little bakes to choose from ~ a pink love heart with a black spider’s web pattern, a girly white ghost with fluttery eyelashes and a pink bow on it’s head, a gorgeous pink pumpkin with a black stalk and white floral detailing, a black bat with a pink bow and pink love heart eyes, a mini love heart with an adorable pumpkin print and a pink circle cookie with ‘trick or treat‘ written on it and sweet black flowers. The cookies also have a very subtle shimmer to the icing which just makes them even prettier and more spellbinding. I really didn’t want to eat them as they are so adorable but I managed a couple of bites and they are the yummiest buttery cookies that just melt in your mouth with the loveliest sugary sweet icing. I have them displayed on my pretty milkshake pink cake stand and I can’t wait to order more from Catherine

The above photos of the Halloween treat box are taken from Catherine Marie Cake and are not my images, I just wanted to share how cute they are!

I also noticed that she was doing gorgeous Halloween treat boxes too containing spooky brownies with pastel sprinkles, ghost cakesicles, gorgeous cupcakes, marshmallow ghosts and other little Halloween treats too.

I hope that you liked this blog post and that you all have a boo~tiful Halloween!
