Decorate My Christmas Tree With Me

I've been so excited to share a post all about how I decorate my Christmas tree with you as we recently moved into our new little home which meant that I had an excuse to buy another snowy tree and lots of pretty pink and girly decorations for it. I've found some beautiful items including unicorns, rainbows and macarons so I really hope you enjoy this post as much as I loved putting it together...

As soon as Carly over at Pixie Dust And Roses announced that she was opening a beautiful new shop, I was instantly obsessed. She has the prettiest pink and girly Instagram account so I knew that her decorations were going to be so princessy and fairytale-esque. The first one that I chose is this stunning Miss Glam Fairytale Bauble which reminds me a little of a unicorn with the dainty gold eyelashes and pink blushing crystal cheeks. I also love the pretty white holographic shimmer that this bauble has so it changes to all shades of a pastel rainbow when it catches the light. On the top, it is adorned with the prettiest pink satin and white lace bow with a pearl and crystal flower and has little twinkling crystal droplets as well.

The second bauble which I chose from Pixie Dust And Roses is this white and pink crystal butterfly one which has the loveliest rhinestone details. I love the pink satin bow tied delicately around the top and the pretty crystal droplets framing the butterfly. The butterfly has stunning pink and silver crystal details and is meant to represent hope, luck and new beginnings which I think is so fitting for this time of the year.

The last bauble that I bought from Pixie Dust And Roses is this darling Marie inspired bauble. It has the most beautiful white glittering sequin design and is almost a fuzzy texture. I love the gorgeous big pink satin bow on the top which looks just like the bow that Marie herself wears. Perfect for any Disney princess to add to her Christmas tree!

I've always wanted a dainty little macaron decoration for my tree and after lusting after the Accessorize pink macaron one and never being able to find it anywhere, I was delighted when I came across this little one on Etsy which is one of my favourite places to shop for cute handmade goodies. These were available in a few shades of soft pastel colours and they make me think of eating Laduree macarons in a pretty Parisian cafe.

Liberty Pink Sugar Crystal Bauble
I bought this gorgeous shimmering pink bauble when my husband and I visited Liberty in London a few years ago. I love adding touches of pink to my girly tree and this is a beautiful colour and shimmers when it catches the light. I also think it looks like it has been dusted in pink sugar crystals which reminds me of Christmas cupcake making.

Liberty Pink Lace Bauble
One of my other favourite baubles from Liberty is this beautiful sugary pink clear glass bauble which is adorned with the loveliest white pattern which reminds me of lace and delicate silver crystals. The Liberty Christmas range is always so stunning and this one has the most beautiful detailing and reminds me of a fairytale princess.

Liberty Pink Glittery Petal Bauble
The last bauble which I picked up from Liberty a few years ago is this glass bauble with a delicate pink faux rose petal in it which is dusted in twinkling silver glitter. I thought this was stunning and the concept is so unique and different. I actually bought one of these for my mum which had a pretty icy blue petal in it which would be perfect if you have a Christmas tree with a frosted winter wonderland theme.

One of my favourite decoration finds this year is this beautiful fairytale swan and cygnet which I found in Sass And Belle's Freya Swan range which I am already obsessed with. I have the gorgeous coffee mug, bowl and salt and pepper shakers which all have the prettiest girly swan adorned with a gold sparkly beak, black eyelashes and pink blushing cheeks. This little Christmas tree decoration is tied with a dainty pink ribbon and the candyfloss pink glittery detailed wing on the swan is so magical.

My eyes lit up like a real life heart-eyed emoji when I spotted this gorgeous holographic rainbow unicorn decoration in The Range and it went straight into my basket. They have a collection of whimsical blush pink, rainbow and girly decorations this year and I love the unicorn's pastel pink, mint and lilac flowing mane and tail and delicate gold horn. I also think this would be a lovely decoration for a little girl's bedroom and will fill any Christmas tree with rainbow sparkly prettiness!

The other bauble that I bought from The Range is this gorgeous pastel pink, lemon and aqua blue rainbow with the shimmering iridescent clouds. It is from their Pink Ice collection which has lots of magical and whimsical decorations and this rainbow looks like it would be fit for a fairytale unicorn candy land!

I'd seen a lot of unicorn baubles on Instagram and whilst I thought most of them were cute, I kept my eye out for something a little more unusual and special. I found this lovely brand last year called Minkleberry Kiss who sell lots of beautiful handmade goodies and I bought this gorgeous little sparkly pink unicorn Christmas tree bauble. It's got little eyelashes and a lovely glittery silver horn and it's adorned with pink and white roses and a little bit of pale pink fluff which just adds the perfect girly finishing touch!

Pink Star & Heart Baubles
I came across these lovely blush pink star and heart baubles in one of my local garden centres and unfortunately, I can't find any mention of a brand on them so I can't link them. They are the prettiest soft milky pink colours and are dusted in twinkling princessy glitter with the little hand drawn stars and hearts on them which remind me a little of sugar cookies.

White Glittery Unicorn Bauble
Another garden centre find is this magical snowy unicorn bauble which makes me feel as if I am walking in a wintery wonderland every time I look at it. It has the prettiest icy white unicorn complete with silver glitter and the bauble is adorned with pretty twinkling stars and snowflake designs which is so whimsical.

Pink And White Candy Stripe Bauble
The last bauble which I found in my local garden centre is this simple white and pink striped decoration which reminds me of The Land Of Sweets from The Nutcracker. It looks like it belongs in a Christmassy candy land and will instantly make any tree look girly, sweet and sugary!

This was a little bit of an impulse purchase but when I spotted this lovely little embellished swan in the Matalan sale last year, I had to buy it! It's a beautiful plush white swan Christmas tree decoration with the loveliest fluffy sparkly wings and is adorned with pale pink and soft champagne beads. It's quite a large decoration and is definitely one of my favourites on my tree!

The last bauble which I had to include in this blog post is one which, when I spotted it last year, I splurged on straightaway! It's from a brand called Grandeur Roses who sell gorgeous everlasting roses and this bauble comes complete with a dainty little rose in it. I obviously chose the pale pink colour but it does come in a wide range of other shades too. It also arrived all tied up with a black ribbon bow which I have since changed to a pink satin one and even came complete with some mini chocolates too!

What are your favourite Christmas tree decorations?

xoxo
